OnePlus has already started rolling out its OxygenOS 9.0.7 update for its flagship device.
The size of the update is just 100MB, and Manu J who is the Global Product Operations Manager of OnePlus has posted the same on the companies official forum page. The other change logs that accompany the update are the fixing of issues that was lock screen wallpaper, general bug fixes and improvements along with the security patch.
As all the updates, even this one will be bringing many improvements that include improvements in the Bluetooth stability for better connectivity and also optimization in the Wi-Fi standby power consumption. It also brings improvements to the slow-motion videos and brings an equalizer to Bluetooth earphones.
This OTA update will be reaching in patches initially and will become broader in the coming days.
The OnePlus 6T smartphone is the successor of the OnePlus 5T smartphone that was launched last year, and it came in the market with a 6.41-inch optic AMOLED display. Under the hood, it is powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 630 GPU.
The smartphone is available in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants and 128GB and 256GB of storage options.
On the camera front, there’s a 16MP main camera sensor with OIS and PDAF which will be accompanied with a 20MP secondary camera on the rear. On the front, we can find a 16MP camera and comes with an under display fingerprint sensor.
It has a 3700mAh battery on the back with fast battery charging. The device was initially available in Mirror Black and Midnight Black color options, and later Thunder Purple was added.
There’s also a good news, OnePlus has joined hands with McLaren to bring the McLaren Edition of OnePlus 6T smartphone, and it is going to make the global debut on 11th of December in London. The Indian launch is scheduled on 12th of December, followed by Chinese launch on 14th of December.
