Fourteen Year Old Turned Down USA To Represent Nigeria

Lateef Omidiji made his clear choice to represent Nigeria after when U.S.A present to him the opportunity to represent the United States Of America.

This young man was born in the USA on 14th September 2003 but still chooses Nigeria over his place of birth even when he had the opportunity that most people don’t have.

We firmly believe he is excellent and another promising player that everyone will love to hear his story in the future
Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) states that the young promising player will join the National U-15 team while preparations for the African Youth Games(AYG) continues.

According to the source, he follows his elder sister Sophia Omidiji in turning down an opportunity to represent other countries, Sophia Omidiji recently honoured her invitation to join Super Falcons.

Lateef Omidiji was called upon by Coach Danladi Nasidi along with 28 other promising players as this is a must-win game for the country in other to defend the title won 4 years ago which was the last edition in Botswana.
